Student Support
At ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É, we place a high priority on caring for and supporting our students. From Welcome Week onwards, you'll be given as much help and support as possible with health and welfare matters as well as your academic work.
The Peer Guide scheme and the Personal Tutor system mean that there is always another student or academic member of staff that you can turn to, while the Student Services & Administration & Administration Centre provides a professional support service for students. The services offered range from financial advice to welfare support, study skills, dyslexia support and counselling.
There is also a dedicated Disability team to provide advice and guidance on a range of disability-related matters.

International Student Ambassadors
Students from over 85 different countries choose to study at ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É and therefore have to leave their native homeland, their families and friends and move to a foreign country. ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É strongly believes in looking after their students and making sure that everyone is made to feel welcome and settles in with ease. That's why ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É has over 20 International Student Ambassadors to support international students from the application process right up to their graduation day.
You can contact our Ambassadors to ask them questions about living and studying at ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É. They're here to help you before you arrive and once you're here they will be on hand to make sure you settle in.
Work Experience and Volunteering
The University's Careers and Employability Service provides a wide range of resources to help you achieve your graduate ambitions. Developing your personal skills and enhancing your employability while at university is becoming increasingly important in today's job market.
Amongst the experiences offered by the Skills and Employability Service to help both your personal and career development are placement programmes, work taster schemes, part-time work, and volunteering and mentoring opportunities.

The ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Employability Award is also designed to enhance the immediate and longer-term career prospects of our students.
