Brand mascots are a Marketing tool created to humanise products and to develop an emotional connection between the consumer and a product. A well-crafted brand mascot is memorable, tells a story and gives a brand personality. Familiar examples include The Michelin Man and Tony the Tiger. However, brand mascots have declined in popularity in recent years. This session will explore whether brand mascots are still relevant in the age of social media and virtual influencers.
