The NWORTH Randomisation Service is a 24/7 web-based service providing randomisations for approved trials via our secure and robust web-based system. By providing the service through the web, we are able to make the service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere where there is access to the internet.

Support is available for trials using the web-based system during standard office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am- 5pm). Please contact nworth-it@bangor.ac.uk.

Security and Data Integrity are taken very seriously when performing randomisations through the web-based system.

Secure Data Transmission

The system is hosted on ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É’s secure web server with access provided through a secure https connection. This prevents eavesdropping, tampering and data forgery.

Password Encryption

User passwords are encrypted using robust, industry standard, 128-bit encryption algorithms, ensuring that passwords are never stored in an accessible or readable form.

Backup and Disaster Recovery

The system is subject to ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É's robust Backup and Disaster Recovery procedures, ensuring that randomisation data is safe, secure and recoverable in the event of disaster.

Access to the system is provided by NWORTH Information Systems who supply usernames and passwords for approved users. You can then login to the system via the  link on the menu.

In order to access the Randomisation System you must first have a username and password. If you require access to the system but you do not have a username and password then please contact NWORTH Information Systems via email at nworth-it@bangor.ac.uk.

First, launch the Randomisation System and login using your given username and password.

Step 1- Select a Trial

Select your trial from the drop-down list.

Step 2- Complete the Questionnaire

Complete the questionnaire, ensuring that all necessary fields are filled in.

Step 3- Confirm and Randomise

Before the randomisation is performed, you must check that the details you have entered are valid and correct. If any of the details you have entered are incorrect click the "Previous" button to go back and make the necessary changes. Once you are happy with the information you have entered, click the "Randomise" button to perform the randomisation.

Step 4- Log out

Once you have completed your randomisation(s), click Logout to log out of the system and close the window.

Please Note

The randomisation will not be performed until you confirm the details you have entered and click the Randomise button. You can cancel a randomisation at any time prior to this by simply logging out and closing the randomisation window.
