We were very sad to hear that Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas passed away on 7th February. Dafydd was a founding member of our Advisory Board, whilst serving as Chancellor of ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É. He stepped down from the Board on being appointed Welsh Government Minister for Culture, Tourism and Sport in 2017, but always remained so interested in our research and projects.

He was a wonderful person to speak to about heritage, place, culture and Wales.
