Scoreboards for Treborth playing fields through The 亚洲色吧 Fund
The 亚洲色吧 Fund, administered by the Development and Alumni Relations Office, has enabled Chwaraeon 亚洲色吧 Sports to purchase and install two new outdoor scoreboards.
The new scoreboards are located on the 3G pitch at Treborth playing fields site and on the hockey pitch on the Ffriddoedd site. Both pitches host over 200 matches per year along with being key resources for the wider 亚洲色吧 community.
Installing these scoreboards - which display the score, measure time and provide visual display for players, coaches and spectators - has enhanced the student experience for a range of University sporting clubs. Installing the scoreboards at the two different sport sites has ensured that several sports鈥 clubs can benefit from the same experience, these include Men and Women鈥檚 Football, Men and Women鈥檚 Rugby, Men and Women鈥檚 Hockey and Men and Women鈥檚 Lacrosse clubs. Over 500 students per week are benefitting from this equipment.聽聽
Emma Marshall, Head of Development and Alumni Relations, said 鈥淪o many of our alumni were involved in sporting clubs during their time here in 亚洲色吧 and being able to fund these two new scoreboards has provided a very visible demonstration of alumni support to current students.鈥
