You are warmly invited to this informal information session that will introduce you to ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É's Researcher Development and Concordat Group. The Concordat is a national, multi-partner agreement that governs a researcher’s career development. It is important that you are aware of the Concordat, and that your views are represented in ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É’s Concordat work.
The Concordat is an agreement between research funders and UK Universities which sets out the expectations and responsibilities of researchers, their managers, employers and funders in relation to principles of a researcher’s career development. ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É is a member of the Researcher Development Concordat, and is committed to the three key principles of the Concordat:Â
- Environment & Culture – acknowledging that excellent research requires a supportive and inclusive research cultureÂ
- Employment – researchers are recruited, employed and managed under conditions that recognise and value their contributionsÂ
- Professional & career development – these are integral to enabling researchers to develop their full potentialÂ
Please come along to hear more about the Concordat, and find out how you can become involved in its work.
